My journey into holistic health began in a hot yoga class I attended at 13 years old. It was my doorway into learning, adopting and integrating new lifestyle habits, including alternative remedies for optimal vitality.

The irony was that while being influenced by my newfound admiration for a holistic lifestyle, I was silently suffering from what I can now pathologize as bulimia - an eating disorder - and what I would presently classify as a maladaptive coping mechanism to manage the pain I was experiencing.

Suffering from this disease for over 13 years was a catalyst for my curiosity about the body-mind connection, gut health, and “healing” as a whole. My struggles and subsequent recovery, my inquisitive nature, and continuous learning about the miraculous capacities of the human body and psyche are what have continued to lead me down this path

To strengthen my knowledge of the holistic approach, I studied Akhanda Yoga in Rishikesh, India to become a certified yoga instructor. I received my Certified Nutritional Practitioner certification from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, Canada. Many of the practices I have cultivated from both disciplines are incorporated into my protocols.

My curiosity and desire to continue learning about holistic health did not end there. I have also acquired a certificate in Mindfulness from Octopus Garden, a yoga studio in downtown Toronto.

I am currently studying Compassionate Inquiry, a therapeutic modality created by physician Gabor Mate – who I view as a 'wounded healer' similar to myself.

My continued self-study currently lies in somatic therapy, understanding the pivotal nature of the nervous system and its effects on all bodily functions and Jungian Psychology.

Each of these accreditations and schools of thought has taught me that human potential is in constant evolution and growth.

I employ the holistic approaches I have learned to help guide clients into reaching their optimal potential.

Simply put: Looking through a holistic lens, Natalia Karolina Nutrition was created to help individuals better their health by adopting holistic shifts in lifestyle, nutrition, and psycho-spiritual habits.

My experience helps me to connect to clients from a place of experience. This propels me to

break down the barriers that the commodification of health has put up to redefine what it feels like, sounds like and is for you.

Health and vitality are meant for everyone and anyone.
